Greetings Fellow Travelers,
In honour of the US Open, I have compiled a list of delicious, yet affordable, nearby restaurants. So whether you're at the US Open, a Mets game, or just chilling in the Park, try any or all of these delightful places. Hopefully this will help you find another reason to return to Queen's, NYC.
1. Street Vendors Outside the Park
Flushing Meadows Park
2. New Curry Leaves Malaysian
13531 40th Rd Flushing, NY
This is the definition of affordable food. It may not have the nicest decor, but once the food arrives I guarantee you wont be able to take your eyes off of it until its all gone. The food is simply delicious, just the right amount of heat, and the service is great. It's an experience to have a meal here. I recommend this place as a nice unwind after a long day of tennis watching.
3. Lucia Pizza
13655B Roosevelt Ave Flushing, NY
Lucia Pizza is both cheap and delicious. It is hot, fresh and damn tasty. Simply the best pizza near Flushing Meadows Park! Grab a slice for brunch before you head inside the tennis grounds. Oh and the guy working there looks just like Super Mario!
4. Gu-Shine Taiwanese Restaurant
135-38 39th Ave Flushing, NY
5. Shake Shack
Citi Field 12301 Roosevelt Ave. Flushing, NY
6. Buddha Bodai
4296 Main St Flushing, NY
7. Tung Yi Fung
13529 37th Ave. Flushing, NY
Tung Yi Fung serves great dim sum for the price. It is much cheaper than many other dim sum restaurants in the area, and the food is just as tasty. It has a clean, bright, and fresh atmosphere with great service. When it comes to dim sum, the most important thing is that it is fresh and delicious. Tung Yi Fung has exactly that. Feel like trying something new? Try the Peanut Butter and Coconut Pizza!
8. Jackson Diner
37-47 74th St. Jackson Heights, NY
This might be a little trek from the US Open grounds, but it is definitely worth it. The weekday lunch buffet is the best Indian buffet around for under ten dollars. Come alone or with friends. The authentic Indian flavours will tickle your tongue in ways you can only imagine. If you like it spicy, you will love Jackson Diner.
9. Spicy and Tasty
39-07 Prince St., Queens, NY
This is not the cheapest Chinese restaurant around, but it is affordably delicious. You know the saying don't judge a book by the cover? Well this is the exception to the rule. Spicy and Tasty is exactly what you will get on your plate! Also, the atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly. There is something for everyone; the menu is massive.
10. Perfect Team Corporation Restaurant
13659 37th Ave Flushing, NY
Somehow the name does say it all. The perfect team are the dim sum cart drivers. As expected, they have many dim sum carts that roll around the restaurant, but the best part is that they all work together as a team. You just have to point at the most appetizing food and it lands on your table. If one cart is missing something you want, they will immediately send a new cart over with exactly what you asked for. The atmosphere is somewhat classy and the food is very good.

Hotels near the US Open book up fast and early. If you are a serious tennis fan, or just want to save a few bucks, the best borough to stay for the US Open is Queens.
The New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott has been a top choice for tennis players and TV crews covering the US Open for years. The hotel is across the street from LaGuardia Airport, and offers a quick shuttle to the US Open and Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Expect quality rooms -- maybe not as large as you would hope -- but the service is superior and prices are cheaper than Manhattan. The Marriott was renovated in 2007.

appreciate your honest post here on . As hard as it is to believe, it is possible you overlooked the few things in question. It would appear it has become a little out of hand with a so much of information to manage about . As a experienced person of nearly 15 years, i must say i totally agree with you on.
