Great Photos Make Great Listing
Including great, vibrant pictures in your iStopOver listing is not only
a perfect way to show visitors exactly what they'll be getting if they
book with you, but they also give you the best opportunity to show off
just how great your space is. We've seen a dramatic difference in the
number of bookings that a listing with great photos receives versus
a listing with poor photos or none at all. There is really no comparison
- great photos are essential to being successful on iStopOver.
There are a few things to keep in mind when taking your photos to make
sure they look as good as possible. This is by no means a complete list,
but it should at least get you thinking about what you should be taking
pictures of and how to compose them.

It's all in the Description
It will come as no surprise to anyone that the most important part of
a listing is the description. This is the space where potential guests
will find nearly all of the information they will need in order to make
a decision about whether or not to book your listing. It can be helpful
to think about your listing description as if it were an article in
a newspaper. That is to say, most people will not read the whole thing,
so it's important to get your most important information across to the
reader before they lose interest. Never place details
that you think are important selling points near the end of the listing
description.
Your listing should address a few simple questions:
WHAT are you offering?
You should talk about your space and give a solid description about
it so that a potential guest is left with as little (read: none) uncertainly
as possible. Include information about what kinds of amenities a guest
will have access to, the size of bed they will be sleeping in, and what
kind of vibe someone should expect from your space.
