iStopOver for World Cup 2010 is Expanding !!

It is very exciting for us to see how well iStopOver for World Cup 2010 has taken off. Visit us at www.istopover.com/worldcup2010 to see the great listings that have been posted.

 Jaimeiso
iStopOver is ideal for the World Cup in South Africa in 2010. We understand that between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors are visiting South Africa during June/July 2010. There are just 75,000 beds in traditional hotels, and according to SA Tourism there could be a shortfall of around 65,000 beds during peak times.

Hosts are rapidly stepping forward to rent rooms in their home, or their entire home to help deal with this shortfall.

South African homeowners have realized that iStopOver is the ideal solution for them:
  • iStopOver is reaching out to visitors from all over the world to ensure the best selection of Guests.
  • iStopOver’s secure payment system ensures that Guests fees have been deposited in Trust prior to their arrival
  • iStopOver has partnered with some of South Africa’s most reputable and reliable real estate companies such as Jawitz Properties. Jawitz is a trusted brand and well know Properties Company to South African homeowners.
  • For Homeowners looking for extra care by agents, Jawitz will be providing premier Host services. www.jawitz.co.za

Top Eight Free Activities in Vancouver

Greetings Fellow Travelers,

The world’s attention has been turned on Vancouver with the upcoming Winter Games. The city has so many attractions and sights to see, but casual travelers are weary to head into the athletic chaos that is Vancouver for the next few months.

 Stanleypark

Guests are spending hundreds of dollars on event tickets and other expenses. I thought it would be fitting to make a list of activities that would be fun and are, more importantly, free!  Here are the Top Eight:

8.  Discover Lynn Canyon Park

Lynn Canyon Park is a fantastic way to see a large variety of nature. There is a suspension bridge that offers spectacular views of Lynn Canyon. This bridge hangs 20 stories above the creek below, and is not for those faint of heart. The rainforest is filled with hiking trails, which will eventually lead you to Twin Falls. Twin Falls is gorgeous and the gentle mist will wake you up no matter what time of day.

Best Practices for Posting Effective Listings

Below are a series of tips created to better attract guests to individual property listings. The most popular listings are those with clear details and attractive photos. The following will help get your listings booked as soon as possible.

Step 1: Listing Information

Firstly include an intriguing and descriptive Listing Title.

When entering the Listing Address, it is best to omit the State/Province and Postal/Zip Code. Click on Verify Address when you are finished inputting the address.

If the address is not verified, check for your location on Google Maps. Our mapping system is based off of Google Maps, and often cities and streets are spelled differently on Google than they are commonly spelt. Click on Verify Address again.

Figure 1: Listing Title and Address.

The Listing Details & Description should be at least around 250 words. You should enter as many details that will describe what you are renting out as possible. It is best to split the description into at least 3 separate paragraphs:
